Vydáme se do Jižní Dakoty do národního parku Badlands, které generál Custor nazval „peklo s vyhaslým ohněm“. Yellowstone je nejstarším a nejproslulejším parkem v USA nacházející se ve Skalistých horách. Grand Teton navazuje jižně na Yellowstone a jeho návštěva rozhodně stojí za to. Podíváme se také na planiny Salt Lake v Utahu. Yosemity v Kalifornii nabízejí úžasné pohledy na vodopády, rostou tam sekvojovce obří. Grand Canyon modelovala řeka Colorado miliony let. Na závěr se vydáme za aligátory na Floridu do národního parku Everglades.
